Shane Huber, D.C., A.T.C.

Dr. Shane Huber is the Chief Medical Director of HealthWorks Wellness Center and founded HealthWorks Wellness Center in 2007. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN and doctorate of chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO. He previously interned with the Minnesota Twins as an Athletic Trainer under the team orthopedic physician, with whom he continued his athletic training services in private practice and was subsequently promoted to office manager prior to continuing his education.

As an athlete himself, Dr. Huber has a passion for helping sports participants overcome injuries and improve the performance. He has provided numerous therapeutic interventions in the treatment of neuropathy as well as chiropractic orthopedic injuries. In the expanded role as Medical Director, Dr. Huber also provides strategic direction to the center management team. Following his success to bring a new, highly successful neuropathy treatment to patients who thought they were out of options, Dr. Huber is working with other clinics in the region to foster a spirit of cooperation to embrace his findings and helps thousands more in need.

Dr. Huber is board certified as a doctor of chiropractic and as an athletic trainer. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Council on Rehabilitative Therapeutics, The American Chiropractic Association, The Wisconsin Chiropractic Association and the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers Association.

Karri Huber, D.O., RHEUMATOLOGY

Dr. Karri Huber received her Bacherlor’s degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and is a graduate of KCUMB in Kansas City, MO, where she received her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree. During her Internal Medicine residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, she was awarded “intern of the Year” by her colleagues and subsequently served on the faculty as Internal Medicine Chief Resident for one year prior to completing her Rheumatology Fellowship at MCW.   She was elected to many residency review and planning committees and served as a preceptor in numerous teaching programs for both medical students and residents while at MCW.

Dr. Huber enjoys developing long term partnerships with her patients. Her goal is to assist each patient in understanding their options and taking action to improve their lives by developing an individualized care plan to meet his or her specific needs. Dr. Huber is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, Wisconsin Rheumatology Association, American Osteopathic Association, and American Medical Association.

Ricardo Sinense, M.D.

Dr. Ricardo Sinense has been in practice for over 30 years.  He has served his community as an emergency room physician, urologist and general medicine practioner.  His vast knowledge of multiple disciplines makes him a valuable member of the Healthworks staff.  As medical director of our neuropathy division he has developed a cutting edge treatment to help patients suffering with the pain, numbness and tingling associated with neuropathy that so many people have.  Dr. Sinense is a member of the American Medical Association, Philipino American Medical Association, New York Section Urology Association and is a founding member of the Jose Rizal McArther foundation.

Sheldon Brown, D.C.

Dr. Sheldon Brown specializes in the treatment of patients with peripheral neuropathy. Passionate about his work, Dr. Brown takes great pride in using a variety of techniques to patients that have peripheral neuropathy. His use of gentle chiropractic interventions has helped thousands of patients get on the road to a quicker recovery. His other passion lies in helping patients achieve successful weight loss. Combining efforts HealthWorks has achieved a 98% success rate in helping patients achieve long term weight loss.

Sara Heberlein

Sara Heberlein, our physical therapist, specializes in neuropathy associated strength and balance rehabilitation. Working in conjunction with all of the doctors, Sara's specialty is bringing non-invasive neuropathy modalities to the patients of HealthWorks Wellness Center.  Sara also specializes on womens health and pelvic floor dysfunction.
